Due to the impact of Covid-19 on staffing levels Tredegar Comprehensive School is to close for Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 until after the half-term. Learners will return to school on Monday, 2nd November 2020.
School will remain open for Year 11 learners.
In addition - the following pupils have been asked to self-isolate for a period of 14 days.
• The remaining pupils of year 9. Classes 9/2 and 9/3 are already isolating after being identified as a contact of a positive case last week
• All year 10 pupils
• A year 7 class
• 8 members of staff
All those who are required to self-isolate have been contacted directly by the school with the appropriate dates for isolation and further advice.
All pupils not attending school will continue with their learning remotely, fully supported by the extensive blended learning offer established by the school.
