Works will include controlled sampling and analysis on the waste stockpiles to determine the type and condition of materials currently present on site. The contract will be undertaken by Cuddy Remediation and supervised by the Council’s Technical Services Team.
These investigation works will form the basis of future discussions with Natural Resource Wales that will then determine a strategy for the removal of the waste stockpiles.
Health and Safety is the main priority and the Council will continue to monitor the site during the investigation works.
